The WS301 is Zebra’s most compact Android enterprise mobile computer, built to connect frontline workers who have no device today. Workers can place and receive push-to-talk calls, look up items by barcode, photograph damaged returns and manage tasks, using a voice-first interface.
The device weighs 2.08 oz. (59 g) on its own. It clips onto a lapel, apron, shirt pocket or belt, or is worn on the wrist like a watch, and it runs a Qualcomm QC2290 with 4 GB RAM/64 GB Flash, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
Key features:
- 13 MP top facing camera — captures barcodes, photos and videos.
- Duress button — a dedicated programmable red button that can, for example, start a video call to security.
- Removable battery — the sheet states 10 hours of battery power, with fast charging.
Typical uses are retail (hands-free customer assistance, push-to-talk, item lookup, task management), hospitality (guest service requests, cross-department PTT) and light manufacturing (hands-free workflows, item lookup, shift task management).
